About Andrew Fraser
Andrew Fraser believes in community — and in showing up for it.
Andrew first put his name forward for mayor in 2018. Looking back, he'll tell you plainly that it was getting ahead of himself — and that the feedback he heard stuck with him: trust is earned from the ground up, by serving and delivering before asking to lead. That's why he's running for Council.
Since moving to Stratford in 2016, Andrew and his family have made this city their home. For seven years he has coached youth soccer, and like so many local parents, his weeks revolve around the courts, pitches, and pools where his sons compete — the Stratford Cobras volleyball court, the Stratford Strikers soccer pitch, and the Stratford Lightning Bolts swim lanes.
Those years on the sidelines taught him what families in this city actually need from their community spaces.
Professionally, Andrew has been a licensed Realtor since 2010, giving him a front-row understanding of the housing pressures facing Stratford households. He went on to found ONGroupOfCompanies, which helps local trades and small businesses get seen and compete against the large corporations that dominate the market. He has also given his time through the Knights of Columbus.
His focus is straightforward: taxes that respect households and businesses, a downtown that thrives year-round, housing families can afford, and a City Hall that listens and is accountable to everyone.
